Guided tours, heritage demonstrations, and interactive programming bring Burlington’s past to the present as visitors explore the house, grounds and interpretive centre.

Enjoy the gift of nature at Ireland House Museum! Discover the history and benefits of lavender with Weir's Lane Lavender & Apiary as they discuss and demonstrate the many ways lavender can be of use. Guests will then enjoy a hands-on experience as they make a culinary treat on the historic hearth and a home remedy on the 1890s woodstove, using recipes from the past.

Join us for our Old-Fashioned Christmas event on Sunday, November 15th...the sounds, smells, tastes and sights will inspire your holiday spirit and remember you will keep warm in plenty of ways - most of our stations are either indoors or sheltered from the November nip! We will have a fire going on our historic hearth and you will be warmed by the scents, sounds and tastes of Christmas on a historic farm including heritage Christmas baking demonstrations & sampling! There will be delicious festive refreshments including traditional scones with cream & preserves, gingerbread and sweets and chili over an open fire.
