Immerse yourself and learn about the Ireland family and Burlington’s agricultural roots at Ireland House at Oakridge Farm, built in 1837 and one of Burlington’s oldest heritage homes. Guided tours, heritage demonstrations, and interactive programming bring Burlington’s past to the present as visitors explore the house, grounds and interpretive centre.

2016 - 2017 Home School Programs

 The Museums of Burlington are excited to offer for the 2016-2017 school year a scheduled, registration-based destination outing program for home school children! Programs will follow the new Ontario Social Studies Curriculum.  9 programs will take place at Ireland House Museum over the school year.

Applefest Fall Fair

Applefest Fall Fair celebrates autumn with activities for young and old.  Take in some main stage entertainment, participate in our many special attractions, take a tour of the historic Ireland House Museum, visit with our vendors, and enjoy our delicious harvest fare menu and apple desserts. Applefest Fall Fair is brought to you by the Museums of Burlington with the assistance of our many volunteers. Parking is available at MM Robinson High School – 2425 Upper Middle Road.
